WORLD TOUR

Requires 1 Megabyte of memory.
World Tour is a graphic-based program which teaches children (or forgetful adults) where the countries and bodies of water are located. Included on this month's issue are North America and Central America.
HOW TO PLAY WORLD TOUR
After selecting "run it", a map of the world will be displayed on your screen. MODE determines whether you will be learning or practicing in a particular area. In the learning mode, you click the mouse on the NAME BOX containing the country or body of water. An "X" will appear in the name box for that country, and the country's name will appear in the correct location on the map. In the practice mode, you click the NAME BOX of a country with your mouse and then touch the dot on the map representing that country or body of water. If you are correct then the name appears. If wrong, your selection (the X) is erased. Therefore, select learn or practice then activate an area by clicking on the plate number corresponding to the area. If you are in the learn mode, selecting "name all" will label all the regions. Remove all, of course, removes all the names. "World" will return you to the main global screen. Plates two and three are in this issue. These plates include North and Central America. Pull down the menu label FILE to quit the game. Enjoy !!!
NOTE: We have had some unexplainable difficulties with the Index. The index shows an alphabetical listing of all the countries in the world by their plate number. Depending on the actions taken before you launch World Tour, choosing the index may freeze the program. If you do use the index it may work perfectly for you. If it does not, simply reboot the machine and continue from there. We are looking into the problem at this very moment. We will certainly have it fixed before sending out another set of plates on a future issue. Thanks for your patience and understanding in this matter.
